Ventilators
ICU ventilators are not the same brief as OR or transport. We define typology with the critical-care service.
Adult/pediatric scope, modes and related monitoring are quoted after clarifying population and protocols — no invented clinical claims.
How to structure an institutional purchase
Use this guide to prepare a comparable request. It does not replace clinical or technical assessment, nor manufacturer documentation.
- Define use setting, population served and transport workflow with clinical and biomed teams.
- Confirm infrastructure, accessories, consumables, alarms and connectivity per SKU.
- Set training, receiving tests, maintenance and support before purchase.
For each SKU, I-ME confirms applicable documentation, commercial scope and support conditions. INVIMA organizes medical-device and biomedical-equipment requirements throughout their lifecycle; WHO recommends integrating inspection and preventive and corrective maintenance into equipment management.
